At the age of eleven Ryan gave his heart to the Lord at a family gathering on Easter Sunday of 1987. The Lord immediately began to set parameters of right and wrong in his life that set a guard over his heart to protect him from the love of the world that is so common among youth. It was in these early years that a desire to commune with the Lord and be pleasing to Him developed in his heart.

Ryan was asked at the age of 16 to speak to the youth group at his father’s church, Church of Acts in San Antonio, Texas. After presenting the word Ryan and a friend proceeded to pray for the thirteen youth who were present. One by one as they prayed for them Ryan went into visions and revelation about their lives and hearts. He had no understanding of the prophetic or the function of the Holy Spirit. Yet, from that time forth God initiated a deeper molding and training in Ryan’s life for Kingdom purposes.

The Lord has used Ryan to minister to thousands over the years through personal prophetic ministry that has a proven track record of accuracy and revealing the Father’s heart. The Lord has used him to release congregational and regional revelation that has produced tremendous fruit for the Kingdom. He has been instrumental in raising up ministry teams (prophetic, healing and intercession) at Church of Acts and ministers abroad as the doors open.

Ryan Pena reflects a new breed of revolutionary prophetic voices arising in this hour. His uncompromising message and ability to hear God's voice has been sharpened by hours alone with the Lord. Ryan’s desire is to see an overcoming Warrior-Bride generation emerge that will walk in the unlimited flow of heaven’s supernatural demonstration. This company of people will be those who have been joined to the Lord and walk in the fullness of Christ. His willingness to submit to relationships of accountability reflects the character and spirit of humility which is so desperately needed in our day. The freshness of the Word delivered, the excellence of a yielded spirit, joined with uncompromised strength is a welcome sound in these strategic days.
